2. Did/Do you have a Networks name? Nick used to introduce me as “the boss’s wife”!
3. How many shows have you appeared in? 8 or 9.
4. Name them!
The first “Xmas Carol”, Cinderella, Ugly!, The Prince and the Pauper, Painting Memories, The Scarecrow Girl, The Secret Garden, Beauty and the Beast... (I think I’m missing an “oriental” one, where I was a Japanese Empress!) N.B. Aladdin
5. What was your first show? The first “Xmas Carol”.
6. What are your earliest memories of the shows?
The magical and powerful experience of being immersed in music, lights, acting... in our tiny theatre room, when Nick came to Orihuela with his group, for the very first time.
7. A) What is your earliest memory of Nick?
That same first time, when we thought that we had to bring him here, to start the Theatre Program and that we were so sure of his great potential as a future wonderful teacher, with a very little training. As you can see, we were so right and... we made it!
B) What is your favourite memory of Nick?
Every time he dresses and acts as the Panto Dame: he looks so much like his mom that I can’t help laughing!
C) What is your scariest memory of Nick?
In the beginning, he could seem really scary when he got mad, especially because we didn’t know him very well yet, and we were not used to it. But later... we know it’s for the best, (and he is getting mellow...)
8. What has been your favourite show to date?
It’s hard to say: I love each one in its own way, but I have a tender spot for the children´s ones.
9. Do you have a favourite moment in a show or memorable moment in rehearsal?I’ve got a special personal feeling for Painting Memories, because I really got inside my character in some ways. But the real memorable (and funny) moment is remembering the amazed look on Dennis’s face when he saw me on the floor after I fell down on stage, while acting in The Prince and the Pauper.
10. What is your favourite photograph of any production? (Attach it to the email and we’ll put it on the blog.) There are so many good ones, that I would let you decide. N.B. I´ve attached a photo from Cristina´s last show, The Scarecrow Girl, and one from Aladdin.
Well, I know “somebody” that will be happy with West Side Story music.
12. Finally: can you sum up Networks Theatre in one word?
Just one? No way! Adrenaline, excitement, joy, hope, happiness, achievement, growth, emotion, team-work, share, faith... Chapeau!!!!
