Networks Blog Stories 7: Daniel Nieves

Blog story Number 7 is about Daniel Nieves. He has already participated in 9 Networks shows and most recently was an impressive ghost of Jacob Marley in A Christmas Carol (although no one could see his face, of course : )


1. What’s your name? Daniel Nieves Roldán.

2. Do you have a Networks name? Daniel.

3. How many shows have you appeared in? Nine.

4. Name them! Romeo & Juliet, Scrooge.com, Ocean Blue, Make a Wish, My School Musical, Bananas! The Musical, Adventures in Pantoland, Around the World in 80 days and A Christmas Carol.

5. What was your first show? Romeo & Juliet.

6. What are your earliest memories of the shows? I remember the first day of rehearsal in Romeo & Juliet. I went to the office to call my sister because she didn't come to the rehearsal and when I returned Nick started shouting "TWO DOORS, TWO DOORS, TWO DOORS..." and I didn't understand anything.

7. What is your earliest/favourite/scariest memory of Nick? My favourite moment was when he did the Cooking Scene in A Christmas Carol. I don't have a scary memory. And my earliest memory is his sense of humor.

8. What has been your favourite show to date? A Christmas Carol.

9. Do you have a favourite moment in a show or memorable moment in rehearsal? The first day I put on the banana costume in Bananas the Musical.

10. What is your favourite photograph of any production? The group photo of A Christmas Carol.

11. Are there any ideas you’d like to give Nick when he’s planning productions. Stories or subjects that you think might make good shows? I don't have any ideas at the moment.

Networks Blog Stories 6: Yeray García

It´s time for yet another Networks Blog Story. This time the honour goes to Yeray García, known for several memorable parts, such as Hans (Big Hans!) in The Three Princesses in Waiting. This is his story!
1. What’s your name? Yeray García Celades.

2. Do you have a Networks name? Ray.

3. How many shows have you appeared in? 8 shows.

4. Name them! Make a Wish, My School Musical, Odysseus, The Scarecrow Girl, Remembrance, Three Princesses in Waiting, Distant Thunder, A Christmas Carol.

5. What was your first show? Make a Wish.

6. What are your earliest memories of the shows? I remember starting to like theatre and hoping to be in the bigger productions someday.

7. What is your earliest/favourite/scariest memory of Nick? I’ll always remember my first rehearsal with Nick. I was so afraid of him. But at the end, I was so excited that I told the complete story of the show to my friends just after leaving the theatre. Nick looked at me seriously and said to me: “DON’T TELL MY STORY”. He managed to scare me again.

8. What has been your favourite show to date? Three Princesses in Waiting. It’s Hans’ fault.

9. Do you have a favourite moment in a show or memorable moment in rehearsal?
The ski song!!!

10. What is your favourite photograph of any production. N.B. The attached photograph is of course of The Ski Song from Three Princesses in Waiting.

11. Are there any ideas you’d like to give Nick when he’s planning productions. Stories or subjects that you think might make good shows? Lots of songs from musicals. Please.

Networks Blog Stories 5: Roberto Hernández

Networks Blog Stories Part 5 features Roberto Hernández. He has acted in an incredible 18 shows, and is determined to participate in even more! (the burning question is if he´ll be able to break David Verdejo´s record... : )

1. What’s your name? Roberto Hernández.

2. Do you have a Networks name? But Brock..!? xD

3. How many shows have you appeared in? 18

4. Name them! Robin Hood, The bamboo princess, Welcome to Sweetville, Christmas at the Majestic Hotel, Flight, The fairy tale mix, Peter Pan, The Prince and the Pauper, Robin Hood II – The Prince strikes back!, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Odysseus, The Scarecrow Girl, Remembrance, Dick Whittington, Frankenstein, 3 Princesses in Waiting, Distant Thunder, A Christmas Carol =)

5. What was your first show? The first Robin Hood, in December 2000.

6. What are your earliest memories of the shows? The first rehearsal of Robin Hood (I was late! xD)

7. What is your earliest/favourite/scariest memory of Nick? There’re lots of them! But I think it was in Odysseus when I saw him completely red and my ears died xD

8. What has been your favourite show to date? DICK WHITTINGTON!!

9. Do you have a favourite moment in a show or memorable moment in rehearsal? The show must go on, performed in Odysseus.

10. What is your favourite photograph of any production? N.B. the photo is from Roberto´s favourite show Dick Whittington.

Networks Blog Stories 4: Inés Ruiz Cabrera (Sally)

It´s time for Part 4 of the Networks Blog Stories. Inés was also very quick to reply to the blog questions! She has already appeared in 6 Networks shows and one of her most memorable parts was in Junior Saves Christmas, as, of course, Junior!


1. What’s your name? Inés Ruiz Cabrera.

2. Do you have a Networks name? Sally

3. How many shows have you appeared in? 6

4. Name them! Peter Pan, Scrooge.com, Ocean blue, Make a wish, Junior saves christmas, Adventures in Pantoland.

5. What was your first show? Peter Pan

6. What are your earliest memories of the shows? The first rehearsal of my first theatre.

7. What is your earliest/favourite/scariest memory of Nick? Earliest: When i saw him in the academy when i was little. Favourite: When he said: That's life, I'm not care! Don't touch it if it isn't yours. Scariest: In scrooge when the shoes have gotten wet.

8. What has been your favourite show to date? Junior saves christmas

9. What is your favourite photograph of any production? All of them. N.B. "All of them" is a little bit too many photos! So I´ve inserted a very heroic photo of Inés as Junior.

10. Are there any ideas you’d like to give Nick when he’s planning productions? Stories or subjects that you think might make good shows? Musicals like Mamma Mia! or some histories with lot of songs...... anyone will be ok.
