Networks Blog Stories 6: Yeray García

It´s time for yet another Networks Blog Story. This time the honour goes to Yeray García, known for several memorable parts, such as Hans (Big Hans!) in The Three Princesses in Waiting. This is his story!
1. What’s your name? Yeray García Celades.

2. Do you have a Networks name? Ray.

3. How many shows have you appeared in? 8 shows.

4. Name them! Make a Wish, My School Musical, Odysseus, The Scarecrow Girl, Remembrance, Three Princesses in Waiting, Distant Thunder, A Christmas Carol.

5. What was your first show? Make a Wish.

6. What are your earliest memories of the shows? I remember starting to like theatre and hoping to be in the bigger productions someday.

7. What is your earliest/favourite/scariest memory of Nick? I’ll always remember my first rehearsal with Nick. I was so afraid of him. But at the end, I was so excited that I told the complete story of the show to my friends just after leaving the theatre. Nick looked at me seriously and said to me: “DON’T TELL MY STORY”. He managed to scare me again.

8. What has been your favourite show to date? Three Princesses in Waiting. It’s Hans’ fault.

9. Do you have a favourite moment in a show or memorable moment in rehearsal?
The ski song!!!

10. What is your favourite photograph of any production. N.B. The attached photograph is of course of The Ski Song from Three Princesses in Waiting.

11. Are there any ideas you’d like to give Nick when he’s planning productions. Stories or subjects that you think might make good shows? Lots of songs from musicals. Please.

12. Finally can you sum up Networks Theatre in just one word? FRIENDSHIP
